This article is for Industrial 3D Printers

Industrial 3D Printers normally has bigger build volume. Apart from printing larger objects, they can be used for small scale production of smaller models. Stability is very important for Industrial 3D Printers because of longer print time. Also for printing higher objects, a higher z-axis length is more desirable. When reading printer specifications, be sure not to mix up build volume and machine size

Apart from larger build volume, some Industrial 3D Printers would handle a large variety of materials such as high performance thermo-plastic like PEEK, PEKK or PEI, or even ceramic and metals.

Pollen AM 3D Printers use industry standard pellets as printing materials, giving maximum freedom of choice of materials to users. Different Pollen AM Printers would support a large variety of materials ranging from standard thermoplastics, high performance thermoplastics, ceramic or metal. It is suitable for both prototyping and small scale production

Liquid Crystal 3D printers use normal LCD as the light source to cure photopolymers which greatly reduce machine production cost and therefore making a large scale SLA/DLP 3D printer like Magna possible. LC Magna has a build volume of 51cm x 28cm x 35cm and it is especially great for small scale production.

CraftBot Flow IDEX has two independent extruders (IDEX). Apart from printing in 2 materials, it can print 2 copies of the same model simultaneously in mirror mode, effectively doubling the rate of production. CraftBot Flow IDEX XL has a build volume of 425 x 250 x 500mm and it's the largest IDEX 3D printer in the market.

Makerpi S300, S400 3D Printers

Makerpi S300 and S400 are both industrial 3D printers with a fully enclosed print chamber and can print with most FDM materials in the market. Apart from a generous 410 x 410 x 410mm build volume, S400 has a print temperature of 450°C and it can handle high performance thermo plastic like PEEK
