Our "Idea to Done 3D Workshop for Schools" focuses on 3D design, 3D printing and other creative technologies such as Micro:bit and is tailored for primary or secondary school students. This workshop can be fully customised according to the needs of different schools. Whether it is age level, learning goals or budget, we can provide flexible solutions. Through practical operations, students will be able to experience the entire creative process from concept to finished product, stimulating their creativity and problem-solving ability.

    Our workshop allows students to develop their own product from start to finish: starting  from design with 3D softwares to printing a prototype and eventually a final product through post processing.

Sample Workshop Plan

See below for a sample workshop plan for 10 sessions of 1-1.5 hours for your reference. We can customise the plan according to your needs.

  • Sessions 1-3: Basic Training
    Learn the basics of 3D design tools including concepts, operations and different features to build a strong foundation.
     

  • Sessions 4-7: Creative Journey
    Under our tutor guidance, students can start building 3D model with their own ideas and creativity.
     

  • Sessions 8-10: Finishing Touch
    Based on the learning objectives, students would learn the following skills to complete their masterpiece:

    • 3D Printing

    • Micro:bit Programming

    • Post Processing and Colouring
