AI x 3D Printing = Creative Summer Programme

 

Summer is coming soon — how are you planning it for your child? Is it just about filling time with a few activities, or giving them a chance to truly learn how to create and turn ideas into reality?

 

Starting from a simple idea and ending with a finished physical creation — that’s what we call “Idea to Done.”

From “Idea” to “Done” — What will your child experience?

 

“Idea to Done” is about a complete creative journey — not just learning a few tools.

 

Your children will begin with their own ideas, learn to use AI tools to generate design concepts, then refine and enhance them through digital 3D sculpting. Finally, they will bring their designs into the real world through 3D printing.

Along the way, they won’t just learn technical skills — they will learn how to turn an idea into reality, step by step.

From “I have an idea” to “I can make it happen.”

By the end of the workshop, each student will have created a 3D printed model and an AI-powered voice-enabled project

​

More importantly, they will gain confidence in their ability to create — realising that their ideas can become something tangible.

​

The course also introduces foundational concepts in AI, 3D design, and digital fabrication, giving children a strong starting point for future learning.

​Workshop Contents

​​

The programme consists of 16 hours in total, covering:

​

  • A complete creative experience to learn AI, digital 3D sculpting tools and 3D printing under the guidance of our experienced instructors. 

  • Using AI tools to generate design ideas and convert them into 3D models with an understanding of AI's advantages and limitations.

  • Refining and enhancing models using digital sculpting tools (Nomad Sculpt).

  • Understanding the fundamentals of 3D printing, including slicing and settings.

  • Hands-on experience operating FDM 3D printers.

  • Training an AI-powered and voice-enabled chatbot to make the creation speak.

  • Cost includes hardware and software required, full coloured high quality 3D print and AI-powered chatbot device.

  • Certificate of completion (on request)​

 

Course Details

  • Location: HG20, G/F, Block B, PMQ, 35 Aberdeen Street, Central, Hong Kong

  • Fee: HK$3,880 (includes all materials and equipment)

  • Duration: 4 weeks (2 sessions per week, 8 sessions total, 16 hours)

  • Target: Full-time students aged 6 or above

  • Language: Cantonese

  • Accompaniment: One parent/guardian may accompany children under 12

Q: Can beginners join with no experience?
A: Yes. The course is designed from scratch and is suitable for beginners.

 

Q: Will it be too difficult for children?
A: The pace is adjusted according to students’ ability, and instructors provide full guidance throughout.

 

Q: Will they really complete a project?
A: Yes. Every student will complete a 3D printed model and an AI-based project.

 

Q: Is this course just for fun?
A: The course is designed around creative learning. Students will actively think, design, and build their own projects, while understanding the concepts behind them.

Important Notes

​​

  • Please carefully check the dates and times when enrolling, and select a workshop group (Class A–E) that you are able to attend. If you wish to change your class after enrollment, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try our best to accommodate your request, but this cannot be guaranteed.

  • Class changes will not be accepted within one week before the first session of the workshop.

  • Please ensure that you are able to attend all sessions. No make-up classes will be arranged for any absence.

  • Make-up sessions may be offered at a later workshop date (subject to availability) under the following circumstances:

    • The workshop session is cancelled by the company due to unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance via email or other contact methods.

    • A Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force on the day of the workshop.

  • Depending on enrollment conditions, the company reserves the right to cancel the entire workshop at least 7 days before its start date. In such cases, participants may choose to receive a full refund or transfer to another class. No additional compensation will be provided.

  • Except in the case of workshop cancellation, all fees paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
