Kids’ AI Literacy × Vibe Coding Workshop

My Virtual Kingdom Architect

Let your children use AI to create their own virtual kingdom website.

In this workshop, students become “Virtual Kingdom Architects”. They will design their own kingdom from scratch, including its name, colours, flag, theme music, landmarks, food, festivals and travel guide. By the end of the course, they will turn their ideas into a website that can be viewed and shared.

The course combines AI prompting, Vibe Coding, AI image generation, AI music creation and simple web publishing. Students will not just “play with AI”. They will learn how to express ideas clearly, guide AI tools effectively, and improve their work step by step.

What is Vibe Coding, and why is it suitable for kids learning AI?

Vibe Coding can be understood as “coding through ideas and descriptions”.

Instead of starting with complex programming syntax, students first learn how to describe their creative ideas clearly. For example, they may explain what kind of kingdom they want to build, what visuals it should have, what music it needs, and how the website should look. AI then helps generate content and simple web code based on their instructions.

This makes Vibe Coding a suitable entry point for learning AI. Students are not passively asking AI for answers. They are learning how to give clear instructions, review whether the output matches their intention, and refine their work through iteration. Through the creative process, they will naturally experience prompt engineering, AI-assisted coding, digital design and problem solving.

For parents, this is not just a kids’ AI course. It is a creative Vibe Coding workshop that helps children build AI literacy, creative thinking and communication skills in a practical and engaging way.

Workshop Contents

This 8-hour workshop in 4 lessons will cover:

Lesson 1: Kingdom Blueprint

  • Students will design the basic identity of their kingdom, including its name, motto, representative colour and setting. They will learn how to use prompts to describe their creative vision to AI.

  • Final output: A kingdom profile card webpage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can my child join without any coding experience?

A: Yes. The course is designed for beginners. Students do not need to know how to code. Our instructor will guide them step by step to complete their project using AI tools.

Q: Is this a coding course or an AI course?

A: It is both, but the main focus is AI literacy and creative application. Students will experience basic web concepts, but the course is not about memorising complex programming syntax.

Q: Will my child simply ask AI to do everything?

A: No. The course focuses on ideation, instruction, testing and refinement. AI is used as a creative tool, but students still need to make design decisions and improve their work.

Q: Does my child need to bring a computer?

A: No. Students only need an iPad with Safari or Chrome browser.

Q: Will students complete a real project?

A: Yes. Each student will complete their own virtual kingdom website and share it in the final lesson.
