The P2S marks the next generation of Bambu Lab’s P-series: rebuilding its popular platform with upgrades inspired by the H-series. It features a 5-inch touchscreen, AI failure detection, Auto Flow Dynamics Calibration, and a refined Adaptive Airflow / Active Venting cooling system. It supports multi-filament printing via AMS 2 Pro / AMS HT, enabling up to 20 filament slots.

AI Failure Detection / Smart Monitoring: The onboard camera system uses AI to detect print failures — e.g. spaghetti, nozzle blobs, “air printing” — and cross-checks nozzle and bed settings. 

  
Auto Flow Dynamics Calibration: A high-frequency eddy-current sensor dynamically adjusts filament flow during printing to maintain consistent extrusion. 

  
Adaptive Airflow + Active Venting: The system draws in ambient air or recirculates chamber air based on need, controlling cooling and preserving temperature while filtering air with carbon filter. 

  
Quick-Swap Hotend System: The P2S introduces a one-clip quick-swap nozzle / heatblock assembly (no wiring to disconnect) for easy nozzle changes and maintenance. 

  
PMSM Servo Extruder: Delivers up to 8.5 kg of extrusion force, monitors filament grinding / clogs in real time via 20 kHz sampling. 

  
Multi-Filament / Color Printing: Supports AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT systems. Officially supports up to 4 AMS 2 Pro + 4 AMS HT units (total 8 units, 20 filament slots) for large-scale multi-color print jobs.
